About Dee Kordas

Specializing as singer/songwriter, senior “Golden Oldies” program which includes a guest puppet or 2, and various artwork.

Dee is a musician, singer, songwriter, puppeteer who has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years, and with her husband Bob, the Fretbenders duo.

Dee Kordas has performed for audiences of all ages, she has acclaimed children’s music recordings, as well as folk/bluegrass recordings with Late Night Radio band and as Fretbenders duo. She was a touring artist with NH Arts council, and has been making and performing her own puppet creations for over 30 years. She has performed for NHPR folk show 4 times, her recording “Maple Syrup” song was used by WBUR for a maple syrup segment too. She performs solo (and as duo with her husband Bob) as “Fretbenders”  for many venues in New England.

With her fun and educational puppet shows, she has performed for many libraries, schools, preschools, and the Puppet Showplace in Brookline, Massachusetts and around New England throughout the years.
